There could very possibly be a day when the useful, relevant and constantly updated site The Valley Voice that I created with my good friend George might one day have as many fans on Facebook as Shouting at Inanimate Objects has.

That right, there is a fan page for this and I actually clicked on it too. 2.2 million people in the world are fans of this insanity. I supposed there are at least that many towns in the world, and there is always one in each town right?

I could go on and list several other fan pages where millions of people have become fans of inane and absurd things, but I don’t care that much. I’d like to think that the fans on The Valley Voice‘s site are the cream of the crop. The most intelligent and learned folks on the planet. And to much of my dismay there seem to be very few. Not to worry though! It seems that if 12/21/2012 could mean the end for us all we know who the world will look to for the responsibly of carrying on our species.

We aren’t elitist or pretentious in any way — I mean how can we really compete when geniuses out there are creating such useful and informative fan pages. It’s what I get for putting something worthwhile out there. What was I thinking!?
